In this debut feature by Writer-Director Zia Mohajerjasbi; Robel Haile, an Eritrean-American boy of 15, embarks on an errand to deliver a huge and heavy suitcase across town destined for a sick family member in his parent’s homeland. Union worked on 5 VFX shots for the film, including 3D cars, 3D trees, and composite.

These frames were for the initial pitch sizzle for “The Brave,”–a docu-series about the Navajo Nation police force. We created a series of miniature landscapes, using wide-open spaces and sparse detailing to emphasize the daily solitude each police officer experiences on patrol.

3D design and exploratory for a live kinetic sculpture: An array of LEDs suspended from the ceiling with light and movement generated by aurora footage and live human interaction. These animation tests use data collected from actual Northern Lights to create color and light.
