Keep Sweet Pray & Obey

Docuseries Exploratory

From the POV of ex-pats from Warren Jeff’s fundamentalist FLDS sect, this Netflix docuseries details Warren’s rise to power and systemic abuse of parishioners. Following this exploratory, Union created several shots and designed a title toolkit for the show. These exploratory frames and animations were conversation starters early in the design exploratory phase of production. Not all of these ideas survived the edit room and made it into the show.

Who Killed Malcolm X

Docuseries Exploratory

In this first round of design exploratory, we are using archival media to build a graphic language for the series. We are heavily leaning into actual FBI document scans to create collaged images and titles for the series.

The New Yorker Presents

Docuseries Main Title Sequence

Created for Amazon Prime’s “The New Yorker Presents,” this main title sequence was built out of popular magazine covers from various The New Yorker’s past. We picked our favorite art and then deconstructed them for animation–eventually putting it all back together as one seamless camera move.
